Terms of use

Effective October 13, 2026

These terms of use govern the use of the Nuvian site and purchases made on it. Nuvian is a brand of Distribution EconoMart Inc., a Quebec company located on Rue des Saulniers, Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, Quebec, Canada ("Nuvian", "we", "us"). By using the site or placing an order, you accept these terms.

1. Online sales in Canada

The site is intended for consumers who want delivery in Canada. We may refuse or cancel an order, for example in the case of an obvious pricing error, an out-of-stock item or suspected fraud; you will then be notified and fully refunded for any amount paid.

2. Products

We describe our products as accurately as possible. Photos are for illustration purposes: colours may vary slightly depending on your screen. The features listed are those on the product pages.

3. Prices and taxes

Prices are shown in Canadian dollars (CAD). Applicable taxes (GST, QST, HST or PST depending on the province of delivery) are calculated and shown at checkout, before you confirm your order. The price charged is the one displayed when you place your order.

4. Payment

Payment is required when you place your order and is processed securely by Shopify. We do not have access to your card numbers. Your order is confirmed by email once payment is authorized.

5. Shipping

Shipping is free everywhere in Canada. Shipping details are described on the Shipping page.

6. Returns

You may return a product within 30 days of receiving it, as described on the Returns and refunds page.

7. Legal warranties

In addition to any warranty offered by the manufacturer or by us, you benefit from the warranties provided by Quebec's Consumer Protection Act: goods must be fit for the purposes for which they are ordinarily used and remain so for a reasonable length of time, having regard to their price, the terms of the contract and their conditions of use. Nothing in these terms limits these legal warranties or the rights the law grants you.

8. Use of the site

The content of the site (text, photos, logo, Nuvian brand) belongs to us or is used with permission. You may not reproduce it for commercial purposes without our written consent. You agree not to use the site fraudulently or to interfere with its operation.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages resulting from use of the products contrary to their instructions or from a temporary interruption of the site. This limitation does not apply to damages caused by our intentional or gross fault, nor does it affect the rights granted to you by the Consumer Protection Act.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Quebec and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Any dispute falls under the jurisdiction of the courts of Quebec, subject to the consumer's legal right to bring proceedings in the court of their place of residence.
